When we detail the exterior of your vehicle we take precautions to avoid swirl marks and scratches to ensure the longevity of your clear coat. The less of these defects your clear coat has the glossier your paint will appear. We only use freshly washed microfiber mitts and towels to wash and dry your vehicle.

Starting with the tires, rims, and wheel wells we use a degreaser and a brush to clean the tire face, rim face and wheel wells. Sometimes we use an acid cleaner on the rim face to help break up heavy break dust and grime. Unfortunately if your vehicles rims have gone years without a deep cleaning the break dust can damage and stain the rim beyond our ability to repair. We use a water based tire dressing to give the tire an even mat finish. This tire dressing isn’t shiny and wet like silicone based tire dressing, but this is a good thing as silicone attracts dirt.

For bug and tar removal we also use a degreaser and brush to them on your mirrors, windshield, rocker panels, and grill. If you have chrome bumpers we will use acid to remove surface contamination giving them a brilliant shine.

When washing your vehicle we will use the foam cannon and bucket method. We start by rinsing off the major debris with a pressure washer, then using the foam cannon we spray an even layer of soap over the vehicle. This layer of foamy soap helps to lubricate the surface of the paint to ensure minimal swirl marks and to encapsulate debris that are loosened up. After the foam is applied we use wash mitts that are dunked and rinsed in a bucket filled with water and soap. Using our soaped up mitts we scrub down the vehicle top to bottom and repeatedly flip to a clean side of the mitt or rinse it off in our bucket. Now that the vehicle is completely scrubbed down a spray wax is applied while the car is still wet and soapy. The spray wax not only adds shine and protection it aids in the drying process and doesn’t allow additional water spots to adhere to the paint. After the wax is applied the pressure washer is used to rinse the entire vehicle down. A combination of microfiber towels, leaf blower, and compressed air is used to dry the surface, nooks, and crannies.
